Steve Collins

 

Fox Valley ASME is  pleased to present Steve Collins as our keynote speaker at Osmoces.

Steve is the Cruise Attitude Control System Engineer for the Mars Curiosity mission from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.  In addition to spacecraft attitude control, Steve is very knowledgeable on many aspects of planetary missions.

Before flying Curiosity to Mars,  Steve participated in numerous JPL missions including Galileo,  Deep Space One, Mars Exploration Rovers and the Deep Impact and EPOXI comet missions.

Steve is a three-time recipient of the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal for his work on the Deep Space One, Deep Impact, and Epoxi missions.
